School trip… and adventure in an abaya!
I’ve been waiting for the trip all year!
All the girls were busy preparing their outfits, colors, and snack bags, and who among us would get the most pictures next to the bus?
I brought a loose, patterned dress from Oswa and a light, easy-to-adjust headscarf.
As usual, my mom told me:
— “Be careful with your clothes in the crowd, and always have extra tissues with you!”
As soon as I got on the bus, the girls saw the dress:
— “Your style is so chic! Is Oswa making new styles?”
Another one teased her friend:
— “I also brought a dress with the same cut… These summer colors are really cheerful!”
I laughed and said:
— “Oswa really has everything for every girl… abayas, dresses, even headscarves in colors that make any trip easier!”
At the first stop, the photo op began:
Everyone was adjusting her headscarf or adjusting her jacket,
and I stood next to a tree, a girl She took a picture of me and said:
— “The background of the dress with the veil is a masterpiece… You have to send me the picture!”
While playing, a girl fell to the ground.
I ran over to her… and she said to me with a smile:
— “It’s good that we wore loose clothes; we got comfortable!”
At lunchtime, the girls shared food and napkins.
One of them said:
— “Each of us has her own style… I love that the trip featured all colors and tastes.”
At the end of the day, the teacher gathered the girls and said:
— “I’m happy with you… Each one has her own personality, and style is a part of her.
Whether you wear something from Oswa or from anywhere, the important thing is that you feel comfortable and proud of yourself.”
When I returned, I felt like I had participated not only in an adventure, but also in sharing a part of my soul with the girls.
The truth is, the sweetest memory isn’t in the clothes themselves…
but in the day we lived and the confidence we felt as we were.
