Friday outing… and my dress is in the frame

Friday for us = a girls’ outing.
The rule is clear:
Everyone dresses as they please… theoretically, that is.

As I was entering the café, one of my friends said to me:
— “Are you planning a funeral or what?”

I laughed:
— “No, I just love a loose black dress… it’s suitable for all occasions!”

In the group photo, everyone was standing in colorful styles, and I was next to them like a commercial in the middle of a color movie.
One of them hinted at me:
— “Would you like to do a styling session for a day? There are amazing fashion brands!”

I said calmly:
— “I’d like to try a different style… but let me finish my turn on the judging panel first!”

The whole thing turned into a joke:
— “Guys, look at the fastest one to make a shopping decision!
She goes in and out in the same color, without troubling the shoppers.”

I laughed heartily…
I may not be thinking about changing my style anytime soon,
but I really love this atmosphere—going out Full of laughter and conversation, and in the end, each one has its own unique mark.

As I was walking back, I thought:
“There are friends who try to change you because of their looks…and there are friends who only care about you laughing sincerely with them, even if there’s no color in the picture.”

Have you ever been out with your friends and felt like you were the only one with a different color or style?

What’s the strangest or funniest comment you’ve heard?

Share your experience with us, or even some advice for a girl who loves her friends while maintaining her identity—a kind word can make all the difference in the middle of a mess!
