💧 The story of the well of Ares… and the ring that was a symbol of trust
In Medina, a little away from the crowds, there was a small well called the Well of Aris.
It wasn’t the most famous well, nor the most expensive, but it witnessed a completely different story… a story with profound meaning, told without fanfare.
This well was near the Quba Mosque, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes sit by it to rest.
On his hand was a silver ring engraved with:
Muhammad – Messenger of God
This ring wasn’t just for decoration…
It represented the message – the trust – the responsibility.
✋ The Ring and the Passing of the Trust
After the death of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the ring passed to Abu Bakr,
then to Umar,
then to Uthman (may God be pleased with them all).
The ring was more than just a simple object;
It was a symbol of immense trust, and a chain of trust passed down among men whose hearts were filled with reliance on God and justice.
One day…
While he was sitting by the well of Aris,
the ring fell from Uthman’s hand into the water.
They searched extensively… they went into the well… they searched… but the ring had vanished and never reappeared.
A simple scene… but it held a very powerful message.
🌙 The meaning behind the story
The ring disappeared… but the message didn’t disappear.
What truly holds a trust isn’t the metal,
it’s the heart.
And what bears responsibility isn’t the adornment,
it’s the intention.
Just as the ring was simple, its meaning was profound… in our lives, very simple things can have immense value:
A comfortable piece of clothing…
A headscarf that reassures you…
An abaya that makes you feel safe… Small choices that affect your entire day.
And that’s why the idea of modesty and comfort isn’t just about appearances…
It’s about character, identity, and spirit.
And that’s exactly what this model represents:
Simple, modest, comfortable clothes… but carrying a meaning that transcends mere appearance.
🤍 In short
Ares Well isn’t just a well.
It’s a station that reminds us that:
Values are more important than appearances
Simplicity is more powerful than ostentation
What’s inside you is far more important than anything you possess
And small stories… can sometimes change our entire perspective on life.
