Sarah’s day at volunteer activity
Sarah has wanted to participate in a charitable activity for a while now.
When she received an announcement about a day to distribute blankets and meals to families in need, she decided to participate.
This day was an opportunity for her to give of her time and do something that made her happy.
👗 Before the Activity
Sarah stood in front of the wardrobe, thinking:
“I’m going to be moving around a lot today, distributing and walking between houses… I need practical and comfortable clothes.”
She chose an outfit from Oswa: a loose, light abaya and a fixed khimar.
She looked in the mirror and said:
“This way, I can move around comfortably and be modest in front of everyone.”
🚚 The Beginning of the Day
The place was full of volunteers, both boys and girls.
Each one was holding a bag and distributing.
One of the girls approached Sarah and said:
— “Your style is very nice… It’s clear that you’re comfortable.”
Sarah smiled:
— “I came to give my time with my heart… and not I want my clothes to be a hindrance.
🌸 In the midst of the activity
As she was distributing blankets, she found an older woman looking at her and saying:
— “May God bless you, my daughter… Your clothes are modest and beautiful.”
In another situation, a young girl from one of the families took the headscarf with admiration and said:
— “I want to be like you.”
These words made Sarah feel that goodness lies not only in what she distributes… but also in the image people see before them.
🌙 End of the Day
After they finished, they returned to the meeting place.
The coordinator said to all the volunteers:
— “Thank you to everyone who contributed. You didn’t just help people… you were an image of mercy.”
Sarah returned home physically exhausted, but her heart filled with peace.
She wrote in her notebook:
“The clothes that allow me to move comfortably… are what allow me to give of my time and of myself.” Honestly.
And Oswa made me feel ready for the whole day without worrying.
✅ The Bottom Line
Charity work requires a pure heart and practical clothing that allows you to spend your time comfortably.
And with Aswa, any girl can participate, move around, and serve without feeling like her clothing is a hindrance.
