Between the chapters… and the veil under the microscope!
First bell, a new day at school.
I was standing in line, wearing a modest Oswa dress and my favorite khimar. The girls around me were wearing bright colors and various headscarves, and each one was talking about a new style she’d tried last week or a color she wanted.
During recess, one of the girls approached me and said with a smile:
— “Have you tried the new loose dresses? There are so many styles and colors. I found them practical and heartwarming!”
I said to her, delighted:
— “Actually, a new style is released every day… I always choose what feels comfortable for me. I tried a lavender Aswa dress, and it made a huge difference in comfort and style. What else would you like to wear?”
Another girl joined in enthusiastically:
— “I tried a new fabric that washes quickly! And Aswa has several styles in fresh colors. Each of us can find what suits her taste without feeling like a stranger.”
A voice inside me Farhan:
“It’s nice that each one has her own style… and every respectful choice within the framework of modesty is beautiful in its own way.”
In the classroom, the teacher came in and said to us:
— “I’m really happy that you’re different and encouraging each other… Self-confidence is the most beautiful style. The important thing is to wear what makes you comfortable and expresses you.”
She noticed a little girl imitating a girl’s turban… and another girl trying a new color on herself.
We laughed, and one of them said:
— “Every day there’s a new look… God, life is enough for all the experiments!”
As I was walking, a little girl asked me:
— “Do I have to choose one style?”
I told her:
— “Of course not! Try whatever you want… they always have new things and a variety of colors. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and proud of your choice.”
I returned home with a relieved heart:
“Every day at school is an opportunity… and every girl has a style and history.
What matters is confidence, self-love… and the simplicity that Inside you.
