The outfit is what changes the look of the occasion
Asmaa always loved gatherings… rejoicing at Eid, and preparing for Hajj from a young age, even if she didn’t travel, just to share in the spirit of the season.
But there was always something missing…
She would prepare her outfit before the occasion, and search for hours…
Opening the closet, rifling through abayas, dresses, and scarves.
And in the end? She’d wear something that covered her… but she didn’t like it.
She would say, “Why is it that all modest clothing is forced? As if it isn’t made with love?”
Until Oswa appeared.
It was a soft, elegant dress, tidy in appearance, yet uncompromising.
It had elastic, a zipper for comfort, and a sophisticated cordon fabric that didn’t stick or rip from the first wear.
Next to it was a veil… light, comfortable, and in a cheerful color.
As soon as she put it on, she felt like she was entering an event satisfied with her appearance, not just covered up.
At that time, she realized that modesty didn’t have to come at the expense of her elegance. Nor did she have to say, “This is what’s available.”
Asmaa now… when she prepares for Eid or Umrah,
she looks for “Oswa” first, not the closet.
Not to buy clothes…
but to dress for a feeling.
A feeling of contentment.
With love.
And by choice.
